Do I need to enter a credit card for the free trial?

Yes โ we ask for a card upfront so you can start without interruption. You won't be charged until day 15. Cancel anytime during the 14-day trial and you'll never see a charge. We use Stripe, the same payment processor used by Apple and Amazon.
What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your loved one's conversations, health data, and memories belong to you โ not us. When you cancel, you can export everything before your access ends. After 30 days, all data is permanently deleted from our servers. We don't sell, share, or retain it.
How does KinBridge keep health data private?

All data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Health data is processed in compliance with HIPAA-aligned practices. We only collect the data needed to run the companion โ no advertising profiles, no data brokering, ever.
Can I switch plans or cancel anytime?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your billing settings. Upgrades are effective immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle. Cancellations stop future charges โ your access continues through your paid period.
What is the "annual" discount, and can I switch?

Annual billing saves you about 20% compared to month-to-month. You're billed once for the year upfront. If you want to switch from monthly to annual, you can do so at any time โ the remaining monthly balance is credited toward your annual plan.
Does KinBridge work without a smartphone for the senior?

Yes. Your loved one only needs a basic cell phone that can send and receive text messages. No apps, no smartphones, no Wi-Fi required for the senior. The caregiver dashboard is a web app โ no installs needed there either.
What happens to the SMS companion if I don't subscribe after the trial?

If the trial ends without a subscription, the companion pauses gracefully. Your loved one won't receive abrupt messages โ Rosie simply won't reach out until the plan is active again. We don't charge anything and there's no impact to your senior's phone number or existing messages.
Can two siblings share a Family or Care+ account?

Yes. Family supports up to 3 caregivers on one account โ each with their own dashboard access. Care+ supports unlimited caregivers. One subscription covers the whole family, no extra cost per family member.
